Malaika was thrilled that BBC Radio 2 Good Morning Sunday, hosted by Jason Mohammad standing in for Clare Balding, played her new single “I Don’t Feel the Same” last Sunday, 26th February 2017.
Jason and his guest said of Malaika “I love Malaika Shaw’s voice. I could listen to it all day”.

Malaika won her category of Best Blues/Jazz at the UMA’s in 2016.
The nomination keeps Malaika’s start in the ascendancy and is an impressive prequel to the release of new single “I Don’t Feel The Same”. The single is a co-write between Malaika and uber hit-making production and writing team John Beck and Steve Chrisanthou (Corinne Bailey Rae amongst others).
