Acclaimed singer/songwriter Dominic Halpin recently spent a day at the Whispering Bob Broadcasting Company to record an Under the Apple Tree Session.

The Manchester based performer has been garnering much praise for his 2014 album ‘4000 Miles’. The album was recorded in Nashville with a who’s who of outstanding musicians including Ronnie Tutt (Elvis’ and Neil Diamond’s Drummer). With strong Americana influences it was sure to catch the attention of the Whispering Bob Broadcasting Company.

Dominic was invited along to perform three tracks for the Under the Apple Tree Session. The first track ‘White Horse’ is taken from ‘4000 Miles’. Dominic’s voice is as smooth as silk on this classy ballad.

‘Talk of the Devil’ features some fine twangy guitar that could come straight from Nashville.

Dominic chose to do The Rolling Stones ‘You Better Move On’ as his cover for the session and his version reminds us of what a great song it is.
